My nation is Germany. My nation was involved in World War 1 because when the ArchDuke was in Serbia, a terrorist group named "The Black Hand" killed him. So then Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia and since Austria-Hungary was in the Central powers they had Italy and Germany on their side. The Allies were the bad guys and they consisted of Great Britain, Russia, and France. So Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, Germany declared war on Russia, and Russia asked France to support them and then France asked Britain to back them up. So basically Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy were on a team and Russia, Great Britain, and France were all on the same team. That is how my nation was involved in World War 1.

Hi my name is Mike Stephens. I am 17 years old. The way that I reacted to the assassination of the ArchDuke was I was Surprised. It also had me scared because I knew that there was going to be a war. So the day after High-School Graduation I went and joined the army because I wanted to be on the front lines with my father and grandfather.
THE BATTLE PLAN FOR MY ARMY
A battle plan that my country came up with was to just go in there and kick some butt and to kill anyone that was not on our side. I agree with this battle plan because it gets straight to the point and there is no fooling around. They left me and a couple of other people in charge of the poisonous gas and all of the other people were in charge of the guns and grenades and the tanks. The poisonous gas was fun and cool. I also had to wear a gas mask for protection so that I didn't get infected with the poisonous gas.

When Russia exited the war it was a big relief to me and my country Germany. Russia was a good competetor up against us. Then when we all heard that the United States joined the war we all kind of lost our excitement and joy. It affected my countries chance of winning at about 50 50
MY NATIONS REACTION TO THE TREATY OF VERSAILLES
When we all found out about the treaty of Versailles we were all very sad. I was disappointed in the fact that we were taking blame for the start of the war. I don't think that it was Germany who started it. I was also mad when I found out that we had to pay for all of the damage. I was nervous too because the general had to get rid of a lot of the troops and since I was young and a first timer I figured that I would be first to go and I was. We had to return Alsace and Lorraine to France. Finally we lost our overseas colonies.
THE RETURN HOME
I was glad to walk in the front door of my house when I got discharged. It was nice to see my mom and dad. They said that I had changed so much and I could beleive it. They were so happy to see me and they called over the whole family and we fixed a feast. It was nice to have a good hame cooked meal for once after so long.
